Privacy

How we handle the details and photos you send us, and credit account applications.

This policy covers milduraflashings.com, our online flashing designer and the Mildura Flashings app. It is published by Mildura Flashings Pty Ltd · ABN 57 702 374 954.

What we collect

  • When you ask for a quote: your name, business name (if given), email, phone number, your notes and any photos you attach.
  • When you use the flashing designer: the same contact details plus the flashings you draw (shapes, sizes, colour and quantities).
  • When you order through the app: your account details and your orders.
  • When you apply for a trade account: the details on our credit application (see Credit accounts and credit reporting).

Why we collect it

To price, make, supply and invoice your flashings, to contact you about your job and, if you apply for a trade account, to assess and manage that credit. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.

How it's handled

  • Quote requests are sent to our business email inbox through Resend, an email delivery service, and we send you a confirmation email the same way.
  • The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers operate internationally, so your details may be processed outside Australia.
  • This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't identify you, and we count taps on our phone, app and designer links with no personal details attached. Our contact page shows a Google map, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and order records for as long as we need them for your job, warranty questions and our tax and business records.

Credit accounts and credit reporting

This section is our credit reporting policy. It applies when you apply for or hold a trade account (a commercial credit account) with us, or guarantee one.

What we collect

  • Names, dates of birth, residential addresses and contact details of proprietors, directors, partners, trustees and guarantors.
  • Business details, including ABN or ACN, licence number, bank and branch, trade references and the credit limit requested.
  • Credit reports and other credit information from credit reporting bodies, other credit providers and trade references.
  • Account records, including your credit limit, invoices, payments, overdue amounts, defaults and any insolvency.

How we collect and store it

We collect it from your application and from you, and from credit reporting bodies, other credit providers, trade references and public registers. Applications and account records are kept in our business email and our accounting system, Xero.

How we use it

To assess a credit application or guarantee, to review creditworthiness while an account is open, to manage the account, to protect our security interests and to collect overdue amounts.

Who we may share it with

  • Credit reporting bodies. We may ask for a credit report about a person with their consent or as the law allows, and may tell a credit reporting body about overdue amounts or serious credit infringements.
  • Other credit providers, trade references and credit insurers.
  • Debt collectors and solicitors.
  • The Personal Property Securities Register, when we register a security interest.

We will give you the name and contact details of any credit reporting body we use when we collect your information. Each one has its own credit reporting policy.

Overseas

The providers of our email and accounting systems may process details outside Australia. We are not otherwise likely to disclose credit information overseas.

How long we keep it

While the account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need it to collect amounts owing, for our tax and business records, or as the law requires.
